Embryo Donation or Adoption

The Fertility Institute of Hawaii is one of only a few centers in the country to offer embryo adoption and donation. We offer both known and anonymous embryo donation and adoption in Hawaii.

How are embryos obtained

The embryos are obtained from couples that have completed the IVF process and were fortunate enough to have excess good-quality embryos that were cryopreserved (frozen). These couples have decided that they have completed their family and would like to donate their embryos for use by another couple.
