September is PCOS Awareness Month
Join us as Dr. Frattarelli educates us about PCOS, which is a hormonal disorder common among women of reproductive age. An imbalance of reproductive hormones can affect a woman’s ability to have a child. However, with both lifestyle modifications, that includes diet and exercise, and medications, many women can still conceive. Both Drs. Frattarelli and Anatte Karmon have evaluated and successfully treated several women in Hawaii and elsewhere who have been diagnosed with PCOS and associated infertility.
September is National PCOS Awareness Month – A time when people are encouraged to come together to support each other across the globe, to increase knowledge, to advocate for awareness, and to help raise funds for the research of PCOS.
