Egle joined the IVF team as an embryologist in 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Microbiology and Philosophy, and Ph.D. degree in Reproductive and Developmental Biology from UH Manoa. The focus of her graduate studies was sex differentiation and male infertility resulting from Y chromosome deletions. Since joining the FIH team, she has mastered various techniques of assisted reproduction, including ICSI, trophectoderm biopsy, embryo and oocyte vitrification, and warming. In addition to bench work as a senior embryologist, Egle maintains her academic position teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology at Kapiolani Community College.
