There are many questions that come to the minds of patients who first learn about their fertility diagnosis and the cost of treatments. The cost of IVF varies based on a patient’s particular needs and insurance coverage. If you have a Hawaii-based insurance plan, your insurance may cover IVF with out-of-pocket co-pay or pre-payment expenses varying between $3,000 and $6,000 depending on insurance. Our billing team can confirm your insurance and co-pay prior to starting your IVF cycle.
Without insurance, IVF ranges between $8,000 to $13,000 plus medications which range from $3,000 to $8,000. There are added costs for those wishing to cryopreserve their embryos or eggs during the IVF cycle or do genetic testing (PGS) on their embryos. Other therapies such as donor sperm, donor egg, or gestational carrier IVF will increase the costs as well. In order to give you an accurate assessment of the individual cost and how costs can be contained, an evaluation and consultation is required. There are typically many options available for infertile patients and the costs will vary depending on diagnosis and the treatment desired or required.
