To our dear patients and staff:
We are deeply saddened by the loss of lives, homes, businesses, and communities on Maui. Our hearts are incredibly heavy, yet we remain hopeful for the safety of our many patients, their families, our neighbor island offices, our employees, and extended ohana.
We have been checking in with all of our actively cycling patients on Maui. We also appreciate the open communication with patients wanting to postpone their cycles. We certainly understand the need to do what is best during this difficult time.
While there is undoubtedly a long road to recovery, Hawaii is strong and resilient. The incredible outpouring of support and resources from across the state and abroad is tremendous. The sense of kuleana runs so deep within Hawaiian culture and the local communities. We are incredibly fortunate to be a part of the healing process.
We will continue to collect items until the end of this week for moms and babies to send as donations to the 501(c)-3 organization Healthy Mothers Health Babies Coalition of Hawaii. Donations are being put to immediate use by way of a satellite office that has been set up on Maui.
With much Respect and Aloha –
Drs. John and LeighAnn Frattarelli, Anatte Karmon, and Emily Goulet
